These photos are from a few months ago but I haven't posted them yet, so I'm doing it now. About a month ago, Timnah and Miriam came and visited. We went to this Civil War Museum in West Virginia, which at first seemed like a good place for a bad horror movie, but ended up being really fun. They had costumes we could dress up in and so we did. Unfortunately, Timnah was sick and couldn't come with us. We missed her!

learn to like gardening, puttering around the house and fixing things.
learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter's day.
learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.
We realized after I got off the horse that it was only meant for smaller people. Oops.

Yay!!!! Fun, fun, fun! Let's do it again! Maybe we can find a John Adams museum somewhere. Or a Benedict Arnold museum. We could all see what we'd look like as obnoxious and disliked people or as traitors. FUN!
